Window Genie Company History
The inspiration and motivation to find and build a professional & sustainable business model came toWindow Genie’s Founder and CEO Richard Nonelle back in 1994. After choosing to leave Corporate America and become an “entrepreneur”, he sifted through the thousands of opportunities that existed. After stumbling upon the service industry and with the guidance of his childhood friend and his family, who had made their fortune in the janitorial supply business, the inspiration to create the first national window cleaning company was born. Starting with one small van and the original name “Signal Window Cleaning Services”, the company was off and running. Over time, additional services were added to meet customer demand and in 1998, the name was changed to “Window Genie” to create a more recognizable and name and logo he could brand and market. Now operating in over 100 markets and 22 states, Window Genie is a company on the move, most recently recognized by Entrepreneur Magazine as the 41st Fastest Growing Franchise.

Training and Support
Window Genie takes pride in our training and support program. Starting with pre-training which begins 2 weeks before your management training in Cincinnati, OH and rolling into your 5 days of training for your grand opening, Window Genie is there for you during each step. After your Grand Opening, you will work directly with one of our Operations Coaches that all have over 10 years of direct experience in the business. You will also work with our Corporate Support staff on all of the individual aspects of your business such as sales and marketing, software, employee management and financial modeling. You will also be participating in monthly “Best Practices” calls and weekly “Underclassmen” calls where you will join other new owners to discuss all of the daily operational challenges of running your business.

Franchise Requirements
We are looking for highly motivated individuals that aren’t afraid of hard work and have a drive to succeed. An outgoing personality is a must as you need to speak with potential customers and get the word out to your community about Window Genie and our services. The ability to “project manage” is an asset as well as sales experience or at least the aptitude to sell. You will also be responsible for creating referral relationships with Realtors, Maid Services, Glass Shops and many others. Leadership skills are essential as you will be team building with your crew. Lastly, we are looking for your full time commitment to the business, part-time or absentee ownership is not allowed.
