Privacy Policy

Last update: 07 / 18 / 2026

The portal NegociosEnFlorida.com (hereinafter, the "Portal" or the "Site") is operated by Businesses in Florida LLC (hereinafter, "NeF", "we" or "our"), a limited liability company incorporated under the laws of the State of Florida, with its registered office at Suite 500, 2000 Ponce de León Blvd., Coral Gables, FL 33134, United States of America. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect from those who visit or use the Portal (the "Users") and from those who purchase advertisements in the Services Directory (the "Advertisers"), how we use it, with whom we share it, and how we protect it. By using the Portal, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

1. Information we collect

Information that you provide to us. When a User completes a contact form, requests information about a business, property or franchise, subscribes to our content or writes to us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we may collect their name, email address, phone number, country of residence and the content of their inquiry, including their investment or immigration interests when they choose to share them.

Advertiser Information. When a professional or company purchases an ad in the Services Directory, we collect the data provided in the subscription form: company or professional name, logo or photograph, email, phone, WhatsApp number, website, service description, professional category and coverage counties, as well as the data necessary for subscription management.

Payment information. Payments from the Services Directory are processed through Stripe, Inc. NeF does not receive or store credit or debit card numbers or banking credentials; this information is handled directly by Stripe in accordance with its own privacy policy and Payments Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS). NeF only receives transaction confirmation and the billing information necessary to manage the subscription.

Information collected automatically. When you browse the Portal, we collect technical data such as IP address, browser type and device, pages visited, time spent on the site, and referring site, using cookies and similar technologies. We use these tools for statistical purposes and to improve the Site (see section 5).

2. How we use the information

We use the information collected to: (a) respond to User inquiries and provide them with the requested information about businesses, real estate, franchises, or visas; (b) direct brokerage inquiries to the appropriate licensed professionals (see section 3); (c) manage the contracting, publication, billing, renewal, and cancellation of listings in the Services Directory; (d) send informational or promotional communications about business opportunities and Portal content to those who have requested them, with the option to unsubscribe at any time; (e) maintain security, measure performance, and improve the content and functionality of the Site; and (f) comply with legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations.

3. With whom do we share the information

NeF does not sell or rent We do not share the personal information of our Users or our Advertisers. We may only share information in the following cases:

With International Business Group LLC ("IBG"). User inquiries related to the purchase or sale of businesses or real estate are handled by IBG, a brokerage firm licensed under Chapter 475 of the Florida Statutes and a legally separate entity from NeF. By submitting such an inquiry, the User consents to their contact information and the content of their inquiry being transferred to IBG and its licensed associates for their attention.

With service providers. We share data with providers that provide us with technological and operational services —payment processing (Stripe), web hosting and infrastructure, content delivery networks, email services and analytics tools— only to the extent necessary to operate the Portal and under confidentiality obligations.

By legal requirement. We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or request of a competent authority, or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of NeF, Users, or third parties.

Business succession. In the event of a merger, acquisition or total or partial sale of NeF's assets, the information may be transferred to the successor entity, and will be subject to this same Policy.

4. Publication of Advertiser Data

The very purpose of the Services Directory is to give advertisers public visibility. Therefore, when purchasing an advertisement, the advertiser expressly consents that the information in your profile—business name, logo or photograph, service description, category, coverage areas, phone number, WhatsApp button, website, and individual profile—be published on the Portal and be accessible to any visitor, as well as indexable by search engines. The Advertiser may request modification or removal of their profile at any time in accordance with the terms of their subscription; profile removal does not delete copies made by third parties or search engines while the profile was published.

5. Cookies and analytics tools

The Portal uses its own and third-party cookies to remember preferences, measure audience, and optimize Site performance, including web analytics tools and social media pixels. You can configure your browser to reject or delete cookies; however, doing so may affect the functionality of some sections of the Portal. Third-party tools process data according to their own privacy policies.

6. Communications via WhatsApp and third-party links

The Portal includes WhatsApp contact buttons, both from NeF and the Directory Advertisers, as well as links to third-party websites. By clicking a WhatsApp button or following an external link, you initiate communication or browsing governed by the terms and privacy policies of the corresponding platform or third party (e.g., WhatsApp/Meta or the Advertiser's website), over which NeF has no control and assumes no responsibility. We recommend that you review these policies before sharing personal information.

7. Information preservation

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy: User inquiries, for the duration of the relationship and for a reasonable period thereafter; Advertiser data, for as long as the subscription is in effect and for the time required for accounting, tax and legal defense purposes; and billing records, for the periods required by applicable law.

8. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including SSL/TLS encryption during data transmission, access controls, and the use of infrastructure and payment providers with recognized security certifications. However, no electronic transmission or storage system is completely infallible, so we cannot guarantee the absolute security of information.

9. Your rights

You may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal information at any time, as well as unsubscribe from our promotional communications, by writing to info@negociosenflorida.com or via the unsubscribe link included in each email. We will respond to requests within a reasonable timeframe, subject to exceptions permitted by law (for example, the retention of billing records). If you reside outside the United States, please be aware that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those of your country; your use of the Portal constitutes your consent to such transfer.

10. Minors

The Portal is intended for business owners, investors, and professionals, and is not for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that a minor has provided us with personal data, they can request its deletion by contacting us at the address provided.

11. Changes to this Policy

NeF may modify this Policy at any time to adapt it to legislative, technological, or Portal-related changes, by publishing the updated version on this same page with the date of the last update. Use of the Site after the publication of changes implies acceptance of these changes. We recommend that you review this page periodically.
